Kitab Basah is a collaboration with Pusaka and Kumpulan Kuda Kepang Parit Raja, tracing the visual and performative language of Kuda Kepang—a Javanese dance carried into Johor through diasporic memory. The work is conceived as an exploration of thresholds: between the seen and the unseen, the body and its departure, the earthly and the celestial.
